Just a quick word before bed

Wow – that’s all I can say. I am just back in my room after a evening tour (started at 8:15pm) of the Western Wall Tunnell. I have never visited this excavation before, but I must say, they are impressive. Just considering how Herod moved 500 tonne stones into place with such percision is remarkable. I have left you one photo – but a photo will not ever capture the extent of the sight.

I prayed at the Western wall tonight, but thought to myself of how wonderful it is that through Christ I have access to God no matter where on earth I am.

If you would like to visit the western wall yourself, just visit http://www.aish.com/wallcam and look at the live video clip. You have to pay if you want to move the camera! I am looking forward to floating in the Dead Sea/Masada tomorrow!

  1. Awesome, Herb! Good job on the blogging – can’t wait to read more. Your comments on the personal spiritual significance are a blessing. Were you speaking with our Assis. Pastor Rich Hall at CBC conference? He seems to think he met “the pastor from Saint John, NB”.

      • Now that I know for sure it wasn’t you, I can tell you that he described “you” as short and balding! He also said “you” talked to him as if you knew him and I think you are possessed of your faculties enough to know who you do or do not know! Enjoy your trip!
